Even with all of the announcements at the Microsoft E3 press conference, this is a hard one to miss. Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will be receiving Backwards Compatibility, meaning some Xbox 360 games will be playable on the One.

However, not every game will be available. To start, there will be 100 games available. More will most likely be added as time goes on. This will be available starting today for preview program members, and this holiday for the public.

You will be able to play any games you have purchased, digital and retail. If you bought discs, you will have to put the disc in the One and download it to be able to play it.
